A couple of drinking gentlemen left this tome. I passed them and they were looking at it, in fairly non-committal fashion, more interested in their drinking. The name of the book is "Brethren".
According to Amazon (and you can blame them for the spelling): "Will Campbell longs to become a Knight Templar, but first he must serve as apprentice to the foul-tempered scholar Everard, a man of dangerous secrets.
Amir Baybars has fought his way from slavery to become a fearsome commander, driven by an unquencahable desire to free his people from the European invaders of the Holy Land."
"The Crusades Come Alive" it says on the cover blurb. Not sure that would be a good thing. I can understand why the drinking gentlemen felt hesitant.

Well, well, fancy that.
DeleteWill Campbell sounds like an idiot. And as for Amir Baybars.....
Delete(Actually, Amir sounds scary)
